Dear Friends in Christ,

       It is with great joy and excitement that I greet you as your new Executive Director. It has been several years since I was first introduced to the Anglican Fellowship of Prayer. As a parish priest in a large congregation, it was my responsibility to plan and coordinate opportunities for prayer, study and worship for individuals and groups. Our parish, through the encouragement of our Diocesan Representative, decided to offer a Lenten retreat under the guidance of the AFP Executive Director. Also in atten-dance that weekend was our President, Dr. Will Williams. It was a fruitful weekend for many in the congregation, and a wonderful introduction to AFP. Little did I know of how that new relationship would flourish.

       Through the mysterious guidance of the Holy Spirit, Will Williams, the Executive Council and I began to pray about a ministry together. After several months of conversation, I am pleased that our Lord has guided us into this mutual ministry and into a new and exciting new life together.

       I look forward to being with you in Denver in April, and then to many years of growing together in our Lord's service.

       May God bless you with a holy and healthy Lent.
