MaundyThursdayAlmighty Father, whose dear Son, on the night before he suffered, instituted the Sacrament of his
Body and Blood:

We give thanks for being in communion with you through Word and Sacrament by the power of the Holy Spirit. Remind us that, while we live through many challenges in our lives, we may remember also your provision for our needs, and to be in communion with you now and in all of the days of our life.

Mercifully grant that we may receive it thankfully in remembrance of Jesus Christ our Lord, who in these holy mysteries gives us a pledge of eternal life; and who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
